Release 4.2.3 is a service release of firmware/software for all In-Sight 1720 series wafer readers. This installation package includes updated In-Sight Explorer software, firmware, and documentation Release 4.2.3 contains several changes and fixes to known issues, including: - Support for Chartered OCR font. - Improved OCR-A reading performance. - Added new try "All" Configs option. - Japanese localization of the wafer ID user interface. - Improved behavior when running the .NET wafer ID user interface in Microsoft Internet Explorer. After installing, read the Cognex Wafer ID 4.2.3 Release Notes for a complete list of changes and fixes contained in 4.2.3. NOTE: A Firmware Upgrade Program (FUP) license is required to upgrade 1720 Series readers running 3.4.4 and earlier firmware versions to 4.2.3. Contact your Cognex sales representative for details.
