http://pcmv.cn/thread-490-1-1.html

Refer to the myRIO Toolkit»Creating NI myRIO Applications»Choosing FPGA Personalities topic on the Contents tab of the LabVIEW Help for more information about using the FPGA personalities.

Using VIs Compatible with FPGA Personalities

The myRIO palette now consists of the following subpalettes that are compatible with different FPGA personalities:

Managing Interrupts

The Interrupt palette includes VIs that you can use to manage analog input, digital input, and timer interrupts on the NI myRIO. An interrupt is a signal indicating an event that needs immediate attention. With the management of interrupts, you can use interrupts to alert an NI myRIO target to a high-priority condition that requires the interruption of the current block diagram code that the NI myRIO target is executing.
You can also use the Interrupt Express VI to manage interrupts.

Controlling Joystick Devices

The Input Device Control palette includes VIs that you can use to initialize, query, close, and obtain the state information about the joystick device connected to an NI myRIO.

I/O Monitor

Use the NI myRIO I/O monitor to test and monitor data from different NI myRIO channels. The NI myRIO I/O monitor supports the following functions:
You can launch the I/O monitor from one of the following places:
Click the Help button in the I/O monitor to access the NI myRIO I/O Monitor Help.

Create Network Communication Project Wizard

Miscellaneous Palette and VI Changes

Known Issues

You can access the software and documentation known issues list online. Refer to the National Instruments website for an up-to-date list of known issues in the LabVIEW myRIO Toolkit.

Bug Fixes

The following items are the IDs and titles of a subset of issues fixed in the LabVIEW myRIO Toolkit.
IDFixed Issue
424379Unable to reset the NI myRIO when UART has been used
426237The Write VI neither returns data nor returns an error when you use this VI to write an unconfigured I2C channel
428301The UART Express VI enables termination characters by default

Accessing the Help

Refer to the LabVIEW Help, accessible by selecting Help»LabVIEW Help from LabVIEW, for information about the myRIO Toolkit.

Finding Examples

Select Help»Find Examples from LabVIEW to launch the NI Example Finder. LabVIEW examples for the myRIO Toolkit are located in the labviewexamplesmyRIO directory. You can modify an example VI to fit an application, or you can copy and paste from one or more examples into a VI that you create.

Automating the Installation of NI Products

You can automate the installation of most NI products using command-line arguments to suppress some or all of the installer user interface and dialog boxes. However, starting with the August 2012 releases (products using NI Installers version 3.1 or later), you may need to perform additional steps before or during a silent installation of NI software.
If the NI product you are installing uses Microsoft .NET 4.0, the .NET installer may run before any NI software installs and may require a reboot before the installation of NI software begins. To avoid a .NET reboot, install .NET 4.0 separately before you install NI software.
For more information about automating the installation of NI products, refer to the following KnowledgeBase articles:
